Who we are

The results

Successful data projects delivered, each one a unique partnership in turning complex challenges into measurable success.

What sets us apart

Founded in 2019, osAre brings together over two decades of collective experience in data engineering, analytics, AI & ML. We’re a team of professionals who’ve navigated the gap between what technology promises and what businesses actually need.

We’ve sat in those meetings where executives demand insights the current systems can’t provide. We’ve untangled pipelines that looked perfect on paper but failed in practice. We’ve seen organizations invest heavily in solutions that never deliver ROI.

That experience shaped how we work: pragmatic, results-focused, and built around business outcomes rather than technical complexity for its own sake.

The values that shape our work culture

Human first, always

We believe that even in B2B, it’s people working with people. We listen with empathy, communicate openly, and treat our clients and colleagues with respect. Internally, we support each other through challenges, create space for growth, and make sure no one stands alone.

Pragmatic by design

We focus on what truly adds value — nothing more, nothing less. Our solutions are practical, well-considered, and built to solve real problems without unnecessary complexity or cost. We believe clarity and simplicity lead to better outcomes.

Founder and Managing Director

Durvin de Lannoy

Durvin de Lannoy has spent his career on one problem that never seems to go away. Organizations hold more data than ever and still cannot answer the questions that matter most to them. His own interest in data began during his student years in the Netherlands, and after 12 years working across Dutch and Caribbean organizations he founded osAre in 2019 on a straightforward conviction. The Dutch Caribbean does not need to import its data expertise. It can build it here.

As Founder and Managing Director, Durvin works where data strategy meets executive decision making. He sits with boards and management teams to turn ambition into something achievable, starting with an honest read of where the organization stands today, a clear view of what it realistically needs next, and a sequence of steps that gets there without wasted investment. He then puts the right team around it. Technical direction and delivery are led by Wikash Chander and a team of specialists, so clients get a roadmap Durvin stands behind and the capacity to actually execute it.

His approach is deliberately unglamorous. Durvin is tool-agnostic and will usually push a client to get more from what they already own before recommending anything new. He has seen enough programs fail on overengineering, hype, and solutions bought before the problem was understood to be skeptical of all three. What he looks for instead is the smallest change that produces a decision someone can act on, and then the next one after that. Twenty years in, he still believes trust and clarity beat sophistication.

Away from work, Durvin is a family man who takes his recovery time on two wheels in Curaçao’s hills, ideally followed by a good cigar. He is a committed supporter of the island’s football, and counts watching Curaçao reach the World Cup among the proudest moments of recent years.

Unsure where to start with data, or holding a roadmap that has not moved in a year? Get in touch with Durvin to talk through what would genuinely move your organization forward.

Technical Director

Wikash Chander

Wikash Chander is the composed force behind the successful design and delivery of modern data platforms and enterprise-ready analytics. With over 15 years of experience, he has engineered clarity out of complexity, shaping robust BI, Data, and AI strategies within some of the Netherlands’ largest corporate environments.

As Technical Director at osAre, Wikash combines this deep hands-on background with a leadership perspective, setting the technical direction for the company while remaining closely involved in delivery. He is the bridge between business ambition and technical reality, translating organizational goals into trustworthy data models, patterns, and pipelines. His architectural philosophy centers on durability, with a strong focus on quality, governance, and repeatability.

With deep expertise spanning Azure, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, Fabric, and DevOps automation, Wikash brings precision, pragmatism, and a proven track record to every engagement. His approach is characterized by a rare blend of enterprise discipline with agile pragmatism, delivering solutions that inspire confidence.

In July 2025, after falling for the island during a 2018 vacation, he relocated his family to Curaçao, trading Dutch commutes for Caribbean sunsets, where he now enjoys family life, exploring the island, and perfecting the art of the espresso shot.

Looking for pragmatic, dependable, and future-focused guidance on your data platform or BI strategy? Get in touch with Wikash and osAre to discuss how they can bring clarity and confidence to your technical roadmap.

Consultant

Steven García

Steven enjoys taking data that is scattered and messy and turning it into something an organization can rely on.

He started his career working with Microsoft SQL Server databases, the systems where companies store their information. He learned how that information is organized and connected, and how to turn it into reports that help teams understand what is happening and decide what to do next. Over time, he became more interested in how organizations actually use their data than in how it is stored.

When Power BI arrived, Steven’s work moved in a new direction. He began focusing on Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform, and on collecting data from different sources, cleaning it up and preparing it for reports and dashboards. Since then he has worked with a number of companies in Colombia, using tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory. Along the way he has learned to build data processes that run reliably, to deal with sources that don’t line up, and to recognize which figures really matter to the people reading the report.

Steven always starts by trying to understand the problem behind the request. One of the first questions he asks a client is what decision they are trying to make, because the answer shapes everything that follows. His experience helps him handle the everyday issues many organizations face, such as systems that don’t talk to each other or reports that people no longer trust, while keeping the bigger picture in view.

Outside of work, Steven loves nature and is happiest in the mountains. He spends many weekends on long hikes at high altitude, which he finds is one of the best ways to clear his head and see things from a different perspective.
