Durvin de Lannoy has spent his career on one problem that never seems to go away. Organizations hold more data than ever and still cannot answer the questions that matter most to them. His own interest in data began during his student years in the Netherlands, and after 12 years working across Dutch and Caribbean organizations he founded osAre in 2019 on a straightforward conviction. As Founder and Managing Director, Durvin works where data strategy meets executive decision making. He sits with boards and management teams to turn ambition into something achievable, starting with an honest read of where the organization stands today, a clear view of what it realistically needs next, and a sequence of steps that gets there without wasted investment. He then puts the right team around it. Technical direction and delivery are led by Wikash Chander and a team of specialists, so clients get a roadmap Durvin stands behind and the capacity to actually execute it.

His approach is deliberately unglamorous. Durvin is tool-agnostic and will usually push a client to get more from what they already own before recommending anything new. He has seen enough programs fail on overengineering, hype, and solutions bought before the problem was understood to be skeptical of all three. What he looks for instead is the smallest change that produces a decision someone can act on, and then the next one after that. Twenty years in, he still believes trust and clarity beat sophistication.

Away from work, Durvin is a family man who takes his recovery time on two wheels in Curaçao’s hills, ideally followed by a good cigar. He is a committed supporter of the island’s football, and counts watching Curaçao reach the World Cup among the proudest moments of recent years.

As Technical Director at osAre, Wikash combines this deep hands-on background with a leadership perspective, setting the technical direction for the company while remaining closely involved in delivery. He is the bridge between business ambition and technical reality, translating organizational goals into trustworthy data models, patterns, and pipelines. His architectural philosophy centers on durability, with a strong focus on quality, governance, and repeatability.

With deep expertise spanning Azure, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, Fabric, and DevOps automation, Wikash brings precision, pragmatism, and a proven track record to every engagement. In July 2025, after falling for the island during a 2018 vacation, he relocated his family to Curaçao, trading Dutch commutes for Caribbean sunsets, where he now enjoys family life, exploring the island, and perfecting the art of the espresso shot.
